MARCA LEON LOAF BREAD

Ingredients
- 214 g All Purpose Flour
- 32g Sugar
- 3g Salt
- 178g Water
- 3g Yeast
- 32g Marca Leon Premium Shortening
- 16g Marca Leon Margarina
*Recommend to use a hand or electric mixer
Procedure:
- In a big bowl or the bowl of an electric mixer (if using), combine warm water, sugar and yeast. Stir to combine and wait for the yeast to proof, about 5 minutes. You’ll see bubbles forming.
- Add the shortening, sugar, salt and flour. Using a paddle attachment, mix for less than a minute just to combine everything. If doing manually, use a wooden spoon to mix everything up. Mixture will look like a pancake batter.
- Using the hand mixer, knead the dough for 5 minutes.
- Transfer to a 7 x3 x 2 ½ aluminum pan and rest the dough for 2 hours or until double in size.
- Preheat oven to 180 ˚C and bake for 15 minutes or depending on your color preference.
Yield: 2 pcs loaf bread (7 x 3”)
